0584CITYOFMEDINAORDINANCENO584ANORDINANCEADOPTINGAPPENDICESIAIIBIIIAIIIBIIICANDVAOFTHEUNIFORMFIRECODETHECITYCOUNCILOFTHECITYOFMEDINAORDAINSASFOLLOWSSECTION1ADOPTIONOFUNIFORMFIRECODEAPPENDICESAllreferencestotheadoptionoftheWashingtonStateBuildingCodeintheOrdinancesoftheCityofMedinashallbedeemedtohaveincludedandshallincludeinthefuturethefollowingappendicesoftheUniformFireCodecurrentlyineffectintheStateofWashingtonIAIIBIIIAIIIBIIICVALifeSafetyRequirementsforExistingBuildingsOtherThanHighRiseProtectionofFlammableandCombustibleLiquidsinTanksSubjecttoFloodingsFireFlowRequirementsforBuildingsFireHydrantLocationsandDistributionTestingAutomaticSprinklerandStandpipeSystemsNationallyRecognizedStandardsofGoodPracticeSECTION2BUILDINGPERMITPLANREVIEWSPriortosubmittalofabuildingpermitapplicationtothebuildingdepartmentforanewresidenceornewaccessorystructureorforanimprovementtoanexistingresidenceoraccessorystructurewhichimprovementconstitutesreconstructionunderthecodesofthisjurisdictiontheapplicantshallsubmitplansanddatatotheFireMarshalforreviewanddeterminationofcompliancewiththeUniformFireCodeThesubmittalshallcontainsufficientdataastheFireMarshalshallrequiretomakesuchdeterminationSECTION3FIREMARSHALDETERMINATIONWhentheFireMarshalhasdeterminedtheproposedprojectmeetstherequirementsoftheUniformFireCodeorfindsthattheproposedprojectisacceptableundertheCodesubjecttostipulatedconditionsheshallmarktwosetsoftheplansasappropriateTheapprovedsetsshallbeincludedinthebuildingpermitapplicationdocumentsattimeofsubmittalbytheapplicanttotheBuildingDepartmentandshallbeincorporatedintotheapprovedset1
