AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MEDINA, WASHINGTON
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.'s 904 AND 917
2014 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Medina City Council enacted Ordinance 904 on November 12,
2013 approving the budget for 2014', and Ordinance 917 Amending Ordinance 904 on
December 8, 2014;
WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase General Fund Revenues and
Expenditures,- and
WHEREAS, after providing public notice, the City Council held a special meeting
on December 1, �2014, to take public testimony on the purchase of real property at 816
Evergreen Point Road referred to as the post office; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Ordinance 914, authorizing the issuance
and sale of a Limited Tax General Obligation Bond of the City in the principle amount of
not to exceed $1l,350,000, and
WHEREAS, at the December 8, 2014, regular meeting, the city council adopted
Ordinance 915, amending Ordinance 914, by setting the final terms of the Limited Tax
General Obligation Bond; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend the City Budget to reflect the 2014
actual revenues and expenditures as received and incurred within the limits of RCW
35A.33.120, allowing for funds received from the sale of bonds or warrants which have
been duly authorized according to law-,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MEDINA,
WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS -
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 904 and Ordinance No. 917 are hereby amended as
summarized below:

SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to make any transfers necessary to carry
out the terms of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. The effective date of this ordinance shall be (5) days after publication of a
summary of its intent and contents.
