REVISING CHAPTER 2.60 OF THE MEDINA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATED TO
SURPLUS CITY PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Medina Municipal Code prowsions are in need of update to add more
detail and flexibility to the means and methods of disposing of surplus City property,
ROW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MEDINA, WASHINGTON, D3
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS.
Section 1. Chapter 2.60 of the Medina Municipal Code, "Disposal of Surplus Personal
Property" shall be renamed "Disposition of Surplus City Property."

The city shall have the right to reject all bids received, whether by sealed bids or at
public auction. When sealed bids are called for, the city shall have the right to require bid
deposits.
Section 3. Effective Date. A summary of this ordinance shall be published in the official
newspaper of the City, and the ordinance shall take effect and be in full force five (5) days after the
date of publication,
