THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MEDINA, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Amendment: Ordinances 307, 315 and 336 and Medinaa Code CFiapter 5-8 is amended to read as follows: 5-8.02 Conditional Use and Special Use Pe use facility shall be constructed within t e ty limits-o£-the t y of Medina without first obtaining a conditional or special use permit.[Reoicet�onai--faai3�t-bes-�ha-13,.-„ryfieer� dwe-1-14 -,4 Special uses include schools, electric cower 5-8.04 Application. All applications for conditional or s ecial use permi sE sFaI1 be submitted to the Medina Planning ion. All applications shall be made usin the Cit 's permit form and include the following in ormat on: a) Street address and legal description of the property upon which the proposed facility is to be located. b) Location of proposed facility on said property and upon all adjacent property. c) A sketch of the proposed facility showing elevations, lighting, screening, fencing and all other relevant information. Applicants shall provide all additional pertinent information requested by the Medina Planning Commission. 5-8.06 Standards. No conditional orspecial use permit shall be issue un ess the Planning Comm ssI own g5il 1 find the proposed [r w_rea1 onn1) facility: a) is compatible with the intent of the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Medina. b) has no materially detrimental effects on neighboring properties due to excessive noise, lighting or other interference with the peaceful use and possession of said neighboring properties. c) has been designed to minimize adverse effects on neighboring properties. d) is consistant with applicable special use provisions of Me 5-8.08. No less than ten (10) days prior to the Planning Commissio s meeting at which the application for a conditional or special use permit shall be considered, the City shall post two notices of the application within 300 feet of the property on which the proposed [--�riona1-] facility is to be located, together with similar notice in any location established for posting of such notices by the City. 5-8.12. Time Limitation.
