RESOLUTION No. 3 4
A RESOLUTION granting a license to Overlake Golf & Country Club
to store automobiles on 80th Avenue N.E. in the area of said
streetst right of way within 300 feet to the south of its
intersection with N.E. 16th Street.
WHEREAS, 90th Avenue within the vicinity of N.E. 16th
Street is�unimproved for travel, and it is desirable that it
be improved in a manner consistent with its ultimate use for
pedestrian and vehicular circulation, as shown on the Comprehensive
Plan heretofore adopted by the City; and
WHEREAS, the Overlake Golf & Country Club has indicated
a willingness to grade, gravel., and drain a portion of said
street right-of-way in consideration of a license to use the same
for storage of automobiles,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MEDINA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. That there be, and there is hereby, granted unto
Overlake Golf & Country Club a license for a period of one
year from this date in consideration of a fee of $1.00 and satis-
faction of the other conditions of this license, to use all of
the right-of-way of 80th Avenue N.E. within 300 feet of its
intersection with N.E. 16th Street in the City of Medina for the
storage of automobiles.
2, As a condition of this license, the Overlake Golf &
Country Club will submit to the City an acceptable engineering
road profile for the street right-of-way involved, together with
acceptable plans for its clearing and grading and any features
designed to protect the adjoining properties, and then complete
the improvement according to such plans, all within 6 months
hereof and at the Clubs expense.
3. This license shall be automatically renewable upon
each anniversary date by the payment of a like money considera-
tion, and shall be revokable upon 60days notice from either
the City or the Overlake Golf & Country Club.
THIS RESOLUTION adopted this 11 day of 1960.
