RESOLUTION N0, 40
A RESOLUTION designating the National Bank of Commerce of
Seattle, Bellevue Branch as a depository for city funds,
authorizing the main branch of said Bank as a place of safe-
keeping for securities deposited as collateral.
WHEREAS, the National Bank of Commerce of Seattle
was the most favorable bidder upon the bonds most recently
sold by the City and
WHEREAS, said banking institution is in every way
qualified to be a depository for funds of the City of Medina,
Now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MEDINA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1, The City Treasurer, or other person
to whom his responsibility may be delegated, is
hereby instructed to designate the National Bank
of Commerce of Seattle by and through its
Bellevue Branch as a depository of monies of the
City of Medina.
Section 2, For purposes of the required security
for such deposits, the City Treasurer is authorized
to approve the deposit of collateral security in
the place of safe deposit in the main branch of
the said National Bank of Commerce of Seattle, in
the city of Seattle,

A RESOLUTION fixing the time for hearing on a petition to vacate
a portion of the short road joining Overlake Drive West and
84th Avenue N.E. adjoining Block 1, Overlake Addition.
WHEREAS a petition has been received signed by the
owner of more than 2/3 of the property abutting upon the parts
of such street, a portion of which is now sought to be vacated,
Now therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MEDINA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That the 8th day of January, 1962, at 8:00 o'clock
P.M. be and the same is hereby fixed as the time when a
petition will be heard by the Council for vacation of
a portion of the short road adjoining Overlake Drive West and
84th AvenueN. E. opposite Block 1, Overlake Addition, as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 1,
Overlake Addition, as recorded in volume 21 of
plats, page 52, records of King County, Washington;
thence northwesterly 32.72 feet along a circular
curve having a radius of 1330.00 feet which bears
S 62002'59" W, to a point of compound curvature
with a circular curve having a radius of 252.00
feet which bears S 60041/261, W; thence along said
curve 71.00 feet to a point of compound curvature
with a circular curve having a radius of 147.00
feet which bears S 44032'53" W; thence along
said curve 52.29 feet to a point of compound
curvature with a circular curve having a -radius
of 55.00 feet which bears S 24010,00" W; thence
along said curve 108.95 feet; thence on a
N0040-00-, E tangent to said curve, 10.00 feet
to a circular curve having a radius of55.00 feet
which bears S89020100,, E; thence along said
curve 108.95 feet to the point of compound
curvature with a circular curve having a radius of
138.65 feet which bears S 24010,00^ W; thence
along said curve 82.36 feet to a pointof compound
curvature with a circular curve having a radius
of 1380.00 feet which bears S 58042'55" W; thence
along said curve 80.30 feet to the point of beginning.
