AJ A RESOLUTION of the City of Medina, Washington declaring the intention of. the Council to order the formation of a local improvement district for the purpose of placing underground all of the overhead utilities transmission lines and removing existing poles, lines and equipment within a certain area within the City; setting forth the nature and territorial extent of the improvement; describing the boundaries thereof; and fixing the date, time and place for a public hearing on the formation of such district. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MEDINA, as follows: Section 1. It is the intention of the Council of the City of Medina to order the improvement of the area within the City bounded as described in Exhibit A, a copy of which is.. attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein, by i placing underground all of the overhead utilities transmission lines existing therein, and removing existing poles, lines and equipment incidental and appurtenant thereto. Section 2. All persons who may desire to object thereto are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held at the City Hall in the City of Medina, Washington at 8_ o'clock P• M. on the day of �)U % , 1968, which time and place are hereby fixed for hearing of matters relating to said improvements and all objections thereto and for determining the method of i payment of said improvements. Section 3. The City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the Council at or prior to the date fixed for such hearing a statement of the estimated cost and expense of the improvements b in the area, a statement of the proportionate amount thereof which should be borne by the property within the proposed assessment district in the area, a statement in detail of the local improvement district assessments outstanding and unpaid against the property in the proposed district, and a statement of the aggregate actual valuation of the real estate, including 25% of the actual valuation of the improvements in the area of the proposed district according to the valuation last placed upon it for the purposes of general taxation, together with a diagram or print showing thereon the lots, tracts, parcels of land and other property which will be specially benefited by said improvements,and the estimated amount of the cost and expense of such improvements to be borne by each such lot, tract, parcel of land or other property. Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of said hearing by publication of this Resolution in at least two consecutive issues of anewspaper of general circulation within the City, with the date of the first publication to be at least fifteen (15) days prior to the date of such hearing, and to mail a notice of such hearing, setting forth the nature of the proposed improvements,. the total estimated cost, the estimated benefits to the particular lots, tracts, or parcels of land, and the time and date of such hearing, at least fifteen (15) days prior to the date thereof, to each owner or reputed owner of any lot, tract, parcel of .land or other property to be specially benefited by said improvements at the addresses shown in the tax rolls of the County Treasurer.
