RESOLUTION NO. 85
A RESOLUTION adopting a comprehensive street program for the six year period
commencing January I, 1968.
WHEREAS, the City is by Section 2 of Chapter 195, Laws of 1961 required
to prepare and adopt a comprehensive street program for the six years ensuing
after January 1, 1968, and file the same with the Director of Highways, and
WHEREAS, a public hearingupon such a proposed plan was had before the
City Council of the City of Medina, on Juky 8, 1968, where all interested
persons were given an opportunity to present their views on such proposed plan,
Nov, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MEDINA DOES RESOLVE AS
F08LOWS:
Section 1. Six Year Street Improvement Adopted.
The following program of street improvement is hereby approved and adopted by the
City of Medina:
2 LID Project - 79th Avenue H.E. from N.E. 24th to N.E. 28th
and N.E. 26th from 79th to 80th $20,000.00
Sidewalks to complete Evergreen Point Road and N.E. 12th
Street Paving projects $12,000.00
1969) 15 Share in Arterial Improvement on 84th Avenue N.E. from
19 0 Freeway to N.E. 12th Street and Lake Washington Boulevard
from 84th Avenue N 7E. to N.E. IOth Street (Joint project
with the Town of Clyde Hill) $230,000.00
1971 Overlake Drive from Evergreen Point Road to Lake
I 2 Washington Boulevard - Grading, Paving & Draining $185,000.00
1973 N.E. 8th Street from Evergreen Point Road to 82nd
Avenue W.E. and 82nd Avenue N.E. from N.E. 8th Street
to H.E. 12th Street - Grading, Draining and Paving 80 000.00
Section 2. Filing. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to `Pile an
authenticated copy of this resolution with the Director of Highways not more than
thirty days after adoption of this resolution.
THIS RESOLUTION adopted this 8th day of July, 1968.
