HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 116L CITY OF MEDINA, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION No. 116 A RBSOIUTION of the City Council of the City of Iledina, Washington, regarding Yarrow Bay marsh for parklands. WHEREAS the development of the Bastside of Lake Washington has greatly reduced the amount of open space shorelands, and WHEREAS this has been most apparent in and along the shores of Lake Washington where much multi -family apartment construction has occurred, and WHEREAS there is a need for retaining publically dedicated open spaces throughout the Eastside, and WHEREAS the south end of Yarrow Bay on Lake Washington is one of the few remaining areas of this kind THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Council of the City of Medina declares itself in support of the study of the preservation of Yarrow Bay marshlands, for the benefit of all the public. THIS RESOLUTION adopted the 8th day of January 1973.
