Resolution No. 145
A RESOLUTION adopting a Comprehensive Six Year Street Plan.
WHEREAS, the City is by Section 2 of Chapter 195, Laws of 1961 required to
prepare and adopt a comprehensive Street Program for the six years 1979-
1985 and file the same with the Director of Highways; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing upon the revised proposed plan was heard before
the City Council of the City of Medina on May 14, 1979, where all interested
persons were given opportunity to present their views on such proposed plan.
Now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MEDINA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. SIX YEAR STREET IMPROVEMENT ADOPTED
The following program of Street Improvement is hereby approved and adopted
by the City of Medina:
1979
Overlake Dr. E. from 84th Ave. N.E. to N.E. Lake Washington
$200,000.00
Blvd. Work contemplated includes base and sub -grade repair,
miscellaneous drainage corrections, and an asphalt concrete
overlay including preleveling.
N.E. 24th St. between 82nd Ave. N.E. and 84th Ave. N.E.
$50,000.00
Work contemplated includes sub -grade and base repair esti-
mated at 20X of the total street, drainage correctiona and
as asphalt concrete overlay.
1980
78th P1. N.E. from N.E. 32nd St. to gvergreen Point Road.
$75,000.00
Work contemplated includes sub -grade and base repair estimated
at 20% of total street surface, correction to roadside drain-
age, and an asphalt concrete overlay.
1981
78th Ave. N.E. and 79th Ave. N.E. south of N.E. 22nd St. and
$909000.00
N.E. 21st St. Work contemplated includes repair of an esti-
mated 30% of the sub -grade and base and an asphalt concrete
overlay (originally scheduled for 1980).
1982
81st Ave. N.E. between N.E. 7th St. and N.E. 8th St. Work
$10,000.00
contemplated includes base repair estimated at 20X of total
street surface and an asphalt concrete overlay.
N.E. loth St. and 84th Ave. N.S. (Intersection). Work con-

and resurfacing of three crossings of the roadway.
SECTION 2. FILING. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to file an
authenticated copy of this resolution with the Director of Highways no more
than thlry days after adoption of this Resolution.
