HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 160CITY OF MEDINA, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 160 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF MEDINA: That the people of Medina urge the governments of the United States and the Soviet Union to work toward a mutually verifiable freeze on the testing, production, and deployment of nuclear weapons, as a first step toward lessening the risk of nuclear war and reducing existing nuclear arsenals. That we inform other citizens in the Pacific Northwest of our action and urge them to join us in the nationwide movement in calling for a halt to the nuclear arms race.
