HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 272RESOLUTION NO. 272 A resolution of the City Council of the City of Medina establishing a six -year CIPTTIP. WHEREAS state law requires the City to adopt a six -year CIP/TIP establishing a schedule of capital and transportation improvement projects for such six year period, and WHEREAS the CIP/TIP attached to this resolution has been recommended for adoption by City Staff and the Public Works Committee. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Medina, Washington, does resolve as follows: RESOLVED that the Capital Improvement Program/Transportation Improvement Program (CIP/TIP) attached to this resolution is hereby adopted for the years 2001 through 2006. FURTHER RESOLVED that the project schedules for the years 2002 through 2006 are based upon current and projected needs and conditions and may be re - prioritized based upon changes in conditions, available funding, community needs and other matters. FURTHER RESOLVED that it is the policy of the City Council not to proceed with repaving of city streets unless the paving project has deteriorated to the level of a Grade 4 as measured by Washington State Department of Transportation Standards.
