Discussion followed.
It was the consensus of the Council to direct the City Attorney to redraft Ordinance No.
614. Their direction was that the minimum setback of any part of any building or
structure shall be thirty feet from the front property line and thirty feet from the rear
property line, and shall be ten feet, or fifteen percent of the property's width measured
from the side property lines at any location of the structure on the building site,
whichever is greater, but not more than thirty feet.
The Council's direction relative to lot coverage was that buildings or structures
comprising dwellings and accessory structures shall, together, occupy no more than
thirteen percent of the area of any lot, with an additional two percent of lot coverage
